- DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Coast Guard intends to attend and participate in the 12th Annual Leadership Institute & Recruitment Fair scheduled on Oct 26th- 30th in New York City in supprot of Coast Guard Diversity Outreach program.. This proposed procurement is for a service for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis to Thurgood Marshall College Fund located on 80 Maiden Ln, New York, NY 10038. In order to comply with the requirements in this Solicitation # HSCGG812-Q-PPE330, the responses should be based on our interpretation of the general requirements provided below. Note 22. The proposed contract action is for Training for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotations. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all quotes received within the time and date of publication of this "Special Note 22" will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. HOW TO RESPOND: In order to compete for this project, interested parties must be registered in SAM System For Award Management (https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/) and submit a price quotation by 2:00 pm, ET, SEPTEMBER 17th,2012. Contractors may either submit one copy of the quote to MOHAMED FILALI, BASE NCR, Room 1615, 2100 Second St. SW, Washington, DC 20593 by mail, fax (202) 372-4905 or preferably by email( Mohamed.Filali@uscg.mil). It is the responsibility of the contractor to ensure the quote is received by the date and time shown above. Evaluation Criteria: Award based on lowest price technically-acceptable (LPTA) The following Federal Acquisition Regulations clauses are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-1, 52-212-4, 52-212-3 and 52-212-5 Contractors can retrieve these clauses on the INTERNET at www.arnet.gov.
