Description
The 366th Contracting Squadron, Mountain Home AFB, ID intends to negotiate and award a sole source firm-fixed-price purchase order to Scherba Industries (doing business as Inflatable Images), 2880 Interstate Pkwy, Brunswick, OH, 44212-4322 1655 under authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Inflatable Images is the only known source that provides a fire truck slide as an integrated feature of the fire safety house. Two separate units are not acceptable to maintain a confined footprint and to manage activities without increasing equipment and personnel needed to manage its use. Inflatable Images also provided a policy letter stating the inflatable fire safety house the Government requires is patented and can only be provided by Inflatable Images. If you are not registered in CCR you will need to register in SAM to meet the requirements found in the applicable provisions and clauses related to CCR registration.
