Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is not a small business set aside. This solicitation number is RFQ2630830 and a solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005- 60. The National Institutes on Drug Abuse (NIDA) on behalf of the National Institutes on Mental Health (NIMH) has a requirement for a RNA Sample Kits. The chips will be used to process 96 total RNA Samples and 96 small RNA Samples by RNA sequencing. One (1) RNA Sample Kit (A) for sample preparation of 48 total RNA samples for single read, paired end, or multiplexing sequencing with 12 of 24 unique indexes each sufficient for 8 individual samples; One RNA Sample Kit (B) for sample preparation of 48 total RNA samples for single read, paired end, or multiplexing sequencing with 12 of 24 unique indexes each sufficient for 8 individual samples; One (1) Small RNA Sample Prep kit (A) for preparation of 24 small RNA samples for multiplexed sequencing to contain indexes 1-12 of 48 Unique Indexes; One (1) Small RNA Sample Prep kit (B) for preparation of 24 small RNA samples for multiplexed sequencing to contain indexes 13-24 of 48 Unique Indexes; One (1) Small RNA Sample Prep kit (C) for preparation of 24 small RNA samples for multiplexed sequencing to contain indexes 25-36 of 48 Unique Indexes; One (1) Small RNA Sample Prep kit (D) for preparation of 24 small RNA samples for multiplexed sequencing to contain indexes 37-48 of 48 Unique Indexes; One (1) SBS Kit v3 (200 cycles) to provide reagents for up to 209 cycles of sequencing on the HiSeq sequencing system; One (1) PE cluster Kit v3 to provide reagents for PE Cluster generation using cBot on Flow Cell v3 Offerors will be evaluated on their ability to meet technical specifications. Offerors will also be evaluated on best value in relation to price. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, with its offer. Clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Condition Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
