Description
This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items. The National Guard Bureau Operational Contracting Division, 111 South George Mason Drive, Arlington VA 22192 has a requirement to procure the following item: Item 1: 1ea Multiple Amputation Trauma Trainer Simulator and accessories. The intended delivery date for the item(s) is 24 October 2012. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source contract to KFORCE GOVERNMENT SOLUTIONS, INC., 2750 PROSPERITY AVE STE 300, FAIRFAX, VA 22031-4312. This firm is the sole developer/manufacturer /distributor of the product no other source will stratify the Governments requirement. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541611 and the Business Size Standard is $6.5M. All responses received within 10 (ten) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 2:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time, September 20th, 2012. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements and that the proposed item has all the salient features of the J&A Letter. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
