- Clarifications R12PS80457 1. Based on the feedback from the site visit on 09/07/2012, contractors do not require Reclamation to break cubicle joints and have the ability to lift the cubicles as required to install carpet in the requested area. 2. Based on the feedback from the site visit on 09/07/2012, Reclamation requests an additional 3% of Carpet Stock to be stored to be used as replacements at a later date. 3. Based on the feedback from the site visit on 09/07/2012, contractors are to replace carpet with the Base Cove in place. 1.Must we respond through FBO to be an eligible bidder? Please forward all proposals to Al Phillips, aphillips@usbr.gov 2.What is the general color that "matches the existing office environment to include the furniture, the base cove and all other furniture items in the space"? The contractor should provide samples/solutions to what colors appropriately fit in that area. A color selection will be made prior to award. 3.Is the (first attachment) GSA Tech Requirements correct per the PWS Scope of Work 2.1? Must at least meet standards described in attachment 3FNE-00-591a 4.May we disregard Scope of Work 2.1.1.3 on the fact that it is not applicable (see attachment two)? In order to meet Reclamation Green initiatives, contractors shall propose carpet with the minimum amount of post consumer content as described in PWS 2.1.1.3. 5.Whom shall approve our material specification as acceptable (attachment three) and when? Upon selection of the vendor to perform the work, Reclamation will identify the carpet to be used on the project, based upon what is being proposed. 6.Which room numbers, if any, are not parts of the scope of work? (i.e. 1020 Men, 1022 Storage, Vestibule, 1002A Elec., 1002 (looks like a break room), 1004 Tele., 1044B mechanical room, etc). a. 1020 Men No b. 1022 Storage No c. Vestibule No d. 1002A Elec. No e. 1002 Yes f. 1004 Tele. No g. 1044B mechanical room, etc. No All currently carpeted areas with the exceptions identified above, need to be re-carpeted.
