- The Mission & Installation Contracting Command - Fort Dix intends to solicit & award an acquisition for elevator inspections and maintenance at Barnes Building Complex, 495 Summer Street, Boston, MA 02210. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to provide the requested services. The period of performance for this effort is estimated to be from 28 September 2012 to 27 September 2013. Two additional one year options are also included in this effort; therefore, potentially ending 27 September 2015, if options are fully exercised. The resultant contract is anticipated to be a Firm-Fixed Price type contract. This acquisition is issued as a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside procurement under the primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) of 561790 and a related small business size standard of $7 million. This synopsis is provided for informational purposes and is not to be considered a request for quote/proposal; however, all responsible sources may submit a quote/proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. Solicitation Number W911S1-12-R-0107 is assigned for reference purposes. The entire solicitation will be made available on or about 17 September 2012 via the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition to Business Website located at https://acquisition.army.mil. The required response date will be stated in the solicitation. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-60. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates or changes to the solicitation. Please be advised that hard copies of the solicitation will not be made available; you must download solicitation documents from the ASFI. Contractors are highly encouraged to register in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submitting their quotes. Go to https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. The successful offeror shall be registered in the SAM database prior to submitting an invoice and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation.
