The Gove!nment does not physically have in its possession sufficient, accurate, or legible data to pur.chase this item from other than the identified source. Items identified by AMSC A, H, or Lon Long Tenn Contracts, are subject to annual review for possible assignment of a different or permanent AMSC, DLA Land and Maritime agrees to maintain a continual review of these items to ep.sure that an annual review at a minimum, in part to detennine if new technical data is available to allow for assigoment of a more permanent AMSC. Any item deterniined to be competitively available during the solicitation evaluation phase will be re.rnoved from the acquisitio n reqUirement. Types of information requested: Company information, cornmerciality of the item, catalog pricing, inventory of the item, delivery and inspection requirements. Suuunary of information received: The survey revealed the company is a large business and they are the manufacturer of the item. It is also not on a GSA schedule. They do not carry this item in inventory and their delivery is for 20 to 30 weeks. They would quote destination or origin. Lastly, they stated the item is manufactured domestically. Information received regarding the commerciality of the itern(s): They determined the item to be no t commercial. They further stated the item was designed and developed for DPGDS program and has a higher specification than a commercial item. The item is not cataloged or price listed. () was not ccmducte d du:e to the unusual and compelling urgency ofthe requirement. () was not conducted due to:- ---'-'-- -· 9.
