- BLDG 1864 Inventory COMBINED SYNOPSIS: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13 as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-60 and DFARs Change Notice (DPN) 20120829 AFAC. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. NAICS is 337214 - Office Furniture (except Wood) Manufacturing is applicable and small business size standard is 500 employees. Solicitation is for commercial service for reconfiguration of existing furniture parts (Knoll and Herman Miller). This will be awarded as a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The acquisition is for the 412th Maintenance Group (MXG), Edwards AFB, CA, 93524. REQUIREMENTS: Procurement to provide reconfigurations services at Edwards AFB, using existing inventories in three facilities: B1600, B1609B, and B1864 (20,000 square feet storage area), and workstations to be configured in facilities B1412 - 20 workstations, B1604 - 15 workstations, and B1830 - 15. NOTE: The reconfiguration effort in B1830 could possibly be done at a later date (November) because of unforeseen construction problems. The contractor shall provide the following: 1. Pricing for reconfiguration of the areas per the Statement of Work 2. Provide a floor diagram per area to be reconfigured 3. Attend a Site Visit at Edwards AFB on 11 September 2012 at 10am to view the facilities and inventory. Meeting place for Site Visit is Building 1609B, at 10 am. All products must be secured for handling and transportation in accordance with Department of Transportation and OSHA standards. Government Requirement: The contractors must provide an accurate and realistic delivery terms and or schedule. Place of services/performance, is FOB Destination - Edwards AFB, CA 93524. The offeror(s) shall include descriptive literature such as specifications, brochures or other relevant information that fully describes their business. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, accessories, tools, materials and project supervision, necessary for performing the reconfiguration services in accordance with the Statement of Work, attached to this solicitation. Please submit the following information with each quote: Cage Code, DUNS number, Prompt Payment Terms, Delivery Time, and Date offer expires. SPECIFICATIONS OF THE REQUIREMENT: Work required is installation of 50 workstations that are 6' x 6' or larger. Each workstation should consist of panels, work surfaces, overhead storage, and below-surface storage. The workstations will be constructed using an existing stock inventory. The workstations will be located in the following locations. B1412 - 20 workstations, B1604 - 15 workstations, and B1830 - 15. a. The stock furniture consists of a variety of Knoll, Inc. and Herman Miller panels, work surfaces, and miscellaneous components- all with varying fabrics and finishes. The inventory has been accomplished and is the best government estimate (see attachment). Inventory should be verified by the contractor. Attached to this solicitation are Inventory Lists of existing furniture items to be used in the reconfiguration effort. Also the Statement of Work is attached.
