- Description
- The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), Phillips Research Site (PRS), Directed Energy Directorate (RD), Kirtland AFB NM intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source requirement, IAW 10 U.S.C. 2304 c (1) as implemented with FAR subpart 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii), to CC&G Company LLC, 12110 Pecos St Ste 210 Denver CO 80234-3343. The sole source will be implemented via a modification to existing contract, FA9451-06-D-0110. The modification will provide for continued contract performance for a 60 day period with two 1-month options to be exercised on an as needed basis only. CC&G Company will provide the continuation of the Business Resources and Support Services (BRASS) efforts via the terms and conditions of contract FA9451-06-D-0110. Services for this contract will include administrative support, financial management support, program/project support, program control support, and additional support functions such as training manager and protocol for the management and operation of the financial management divisions, the business offices, and individual projects, branches and divisions. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561210 with a size standard of $35.5M. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS AND IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. However, interested parties may submit statements of capability. Any costs incurred as a result of this announcement shall be borne by the offeror and shall not be charged to the Government for reimbursement. The determination of the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The clause at 53.52.201-9101, Ombudsman, is applicable to this procurement. An Ombudsman has been appointed to address concerns of offereor(s) or potential offerors. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program manager or contracting office, but communicates the contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of the proposals or in the source selection process. Matters of routine or administrative nature concerning this acquisition should not be addressed to the Ombudsman, but rather to the contracting point of contact identified below.
