- This solicitation is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT The Navy intends to solicit and negotiate this contract as a Sole Source Procurement. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, MOTION TECH AUTOMATION LLC 7166 4TH ST N SAINT PAUL MN 55128 IAW 6.203-1(C). The basis for restricting competition is the lack of detailed drawings/specifications test procedures and test stations in addition to duplicative costs and time that will be required to reverse engineer the system. All other offeror ™s may submit a quote that will be reviewed by the Government. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. CLIN 0001 BOOSTER MOTOR Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division intends to enter into a Firm Fixed Price supply contract IAW FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Inspection and Acceptance is to be at destination with deliver F.O.B. Destination: NSWC Crane, IN 47522-5001. Delivery is required FOB Destination, Crane, IN 47522-5001 12 weeks ADC. Please reference delivery schedule in RFQ. Solicitation will be available for download on the NECO and FedBizOpps website. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to FedBizOpps and NECO. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor, FedBizOpps and/or NECO for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offeror ™s that provide a quote will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award. To be eligible for award of a Government contract, contractors must be properly registered in the Governments Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). CCR and ORCA have been recently incorporated into the Governments new point of registration, System for Awards Management (SAM).
