- Description
- In accordance with FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and as documented consistent with FAR 13.501, The National Institutes of Health (NIH) National Institute Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) intend to procure a Optima Max-TL Tabletop Ultracentrifuge. The above ultracentrifuge will replace a Beckman Table (benchtop) that was purchased in 1992. We cannot use a floor model because NIDDK protocols have been developed for small sample sizes and have been optimized for small volumes and there is no space for a floor model. Beckman rotors that we currently own can be used in the new instrument. All responsible businesses that are capable of providing the Government with the above may request a copy of the Request for Quote (RFQ) in writing or by FAX to 301-480-8501 to the Contracting Office prior to the closing date of this notice. It is anticipated that RFQ NIHLM2012511 will be available fifteen (5) days after the publication date of this synopsis. Receipt of quotations will be due ten (5) days after the release of the RFQ. Request for copies of the RFQ must be submitted to the National Library of Medicine, 6707 Democracy Boulevard, Two Democracy Plaza, Room 775, Bethesda, MD 20817 or via email: griffinv@mail.nih.gov to the Attention: V. Lynn Griffin. FAX quotations must contain offerors name, address, telephone number and fax number. FAX quotations will be accepted if dated and signed by an authorized company representative. All requests for quotations must have a valid email address. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE PROVIDED. Notification of any amendments to the solicitation will only be made at the Federal Business Opportunities website www.FBO.gov. IT IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE OFFEROR TO VIEW THE WEBSITE FOR ANY AMENDMENTS ISSUED TO THE SOLICITATION. The Dun and Bradstreet Number (DUNS), the Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) and the certification of business size shall be included. FAX quotations will be accepted if dated and signed by an authorized company representative. FAX NUMBER 301-480-8501. Confidentiality - No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response.
