Description

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), National Veterinary Services Laboratory (NVSL) facility located on Plum Island, NY intends to issue a sole source Purchase Order award to Mettler Toledo located in Columbus, OH for a Mettler Toledo Multi-Channel Pipette calibration system (MCP1) under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1). The MCP1 will be used by the laboratory to calibrate single and multi-channel pipettes used in various analytical testing protocols at the lab. The Mettler Toledo MCP1 is the only system that can meet the laboratory's readability specification of 0.01mg, a repeatability specification of 0.03mg, a stabilization time specification of 5 seconds, and a maximum foot print of 18"L x 12"W. The anticipated Purchase Order value is not-to-exceed $37,059.00. This notice is for informational purposes only. No formal solicitation will be issued.
