- Remove/Replace Transmission Solicitation SPECIAL NOTICE GENERAL INFORMATION Document Type: Special Notice Solicitation Number: FA4613-12-Q-1040 Posted Date: 4 September 2012 Response Date: 7 September 2012 Classification Code: J024 - Maintenance and Repair of Tractors Set-Aside: Small Business 100% NAICS Code: 811113 CONTRACTING OFFICE ADDRESS Department of the Air Force, Air Force Space Command, 90CONS, 7505 Barnes Loop, F.E. Warren AFB, WY 82005-2860, UNITED STATES DESCRIPTION This special notice for commercial items is posted as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for solicitation number FA4613-12-Q-1040, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 52.243-1, as supplemented with additional information included within to provide all labor, parts, tools, materials, and transportation necessary to remove and replace with OEM transmission on V ehicle Type: Freightliner, Columbia 100 Series; Vehicle Identification Number: 1FUJFOCV86LW53640. Awardee will be responsible for transporting disabled tractor to place of repair. Delivery will be to: 153 CACS/MAOSR 4200 LIBERATOR ROAD, F. E. WARREN AFB, WY 82005-2987. The RFQ incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circulars (FAC) 2005-60. The proposed requirement is a Small Business set-aside, 100%, and applies to the North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) 811113 The Government will make a best value award decision. Quotes shall include pricing information to include unit price and the extended total. There will be no paper copies of the RFQ notice available. The Government will not reimburse any interested parties for monies spent to provide a response to the subsequent RFQ notice. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing within the time allowed. Any questions in regards to this notice must be submitted in writing, via e-mail, or facsimile to the Contracting Officer or Contract Specialist listed above under the Point of Contact. QUOTES ARE DUE NOT LATER THAN (2PM), MOUNTAIN STANDARD TIME, 7 SEPTEMBER 2012. OFFERORS ARE ENCOURAGED TO SUBMIT QUOTES ELECTRONICALLY TO THE POINT OF CONTACT ABOVE.
