Amendment 02 SF30 FAR 52.222-42 and Question & Answer Amendment 01 Question and Answer Amendment 02 Question and Answer FAR 52.222-42 Equive Rates Fed Hires SEE ATTACHED SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS POSTED 08/17/2012 PROJECT TITLE: Vessel repair and marine support operations. LOCATION OF WORK: Various locations; Office of National Marine Sanctuaries (ONMS) facilities throughout the United States and American Samoa. NAICS CODE: 483112, Deep Sea Passenger Transportation, Small Business Size Standard 500 employees. SET-ASIDE STATUS: This procurement is a 100% Small Business Set Aside DESCRIPTION: NOAA's Acquisition & Grants Office, Western Acquisition Division-Boulder, in support of ONMS, seeks potential vendors to provide support operations for a fleet of small research and law enforcement boats, between 20 and 85 feet, located at various ONMS facilities throughout the United States and American Samoa. A list of these vessels may be found at http://sanctuaries.noaa.gov/missions/vessels/vessel10.html. These small boats are important tools of the ONMS research, law enforcement, education, and outreach missions/requirements efforts. The contractor will provide support services of technical personnel to oversee the preventative maintenance, emergent repairs services, and operation of ONMS Small Boat Program vessels and marine support services to include marine engineering services, quality assurance; preventative maintenance; responding to ONMS Small Boat Program casualty reports (CASREP); recommend engineering change requests (ECR), recommend repair procedures, support installed scientific support equipment, maintenance coordination, licensed crews to support ONMS at-sea operations, and provide programmatic support for the ONMS Small Boat Program. All responsible and fully responsive sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the Agency. Any resulting contract will be awarded as an Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity contract. Solicitation documents will be made available for download on or around June 22, 2012 at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be issued. TENTATIVE SOLICITATION ISSUE DATE: June 22, 2012 TENTATIVE PROPOSAL DUE DATE: July 9, 2012 ANTICIPATED AWARD DATE: August 10, 2012 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: NOAA anticipates awarding a contract with a one year base and two one-year option periods.
