Description
This notice is a Request for Information (RFI). U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is in the process of developing a requirement for Custom Computer Programming Services to determine if there is a Custom Computer Programming Services Contractor who can supply a commercial off the shelf (COTS) product with courseware creation, document management and workflow development, records management using a formalized change management process, Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) package generation and reporting functions. FSC Codes are 6910, 6930 and NAIC code is 541511. CBP is interested in incorporating commercial and industry practices that support this type of procurement. To accomplish this, CBP intends to partner with industry during the acquisition process, specifically by asking contractors to provide existing market capabilities, including strengths and weaknesses for the acquisition of these services. Responses to this RFI will allow CBP to incorporate industry input into the overall acquisition for Custom Computer Programming Services. Note: RFI responses will NOT be shared with other industry service providers and will solely be used as part of the contract planning process. Disclaimer: The following requested information to be provided is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. The government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this RFI or to otherwise pay for the information solicited. Any contract that might be awarded based on information received or derived from this RFI will be the outcome of the competitive process. CBP is seeking a contractor on an open market basis who can provide the following services: Acquire, configure, customize and integrate COTS Learning Content Management System into the Training Production and Standards Division and Office of Information Technology current LAN infrastructure in accordance with the attached statement of work. All responses to include: Company Name; Company Address, Point of Contract, Telephone Number, e-mail Address, and Size of Organization (i.e. large small business) All responses to be by e-mail only by responsible contractors who can meet the above criteria.
