- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, FY12-F4A4002124AQ01-NETAPP-RENEWAL-PMA_SAN_SERVER-TYNDALLAFB, is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-60. This procurement is a 100% Small Business set-aside IAW FAR 19.502-2 (a). The NAICS code is 334112 and the small business size standard is 1000 employees. This RFQ consists of the following items: Line Items to include: ITEM 0001: NetApp renewal; extended warranty hardware support and SSP from 22 September 2012 through 21 September 2013 (Base Year) (P/N CS-N-SSP-NBD; S/N 1052436; 1071275); Qty: 2 ea. ITEM 1001: NetApp renewal; extended warranty hardware support and SSP from 22 September 2013 through 21 September 2014 (Option Year 1) (P/N CS-N-SSP-NBD; S/N 1052436; 1071275); Qty: 2 ea. ITEM 2001: NetApp renewal; extended warranty hardware support and SSP from 22 September 2014 through 21 September 2015 (Option Year 2) (P/N CS-N-SSP-NBD; S/N 1052436; 1071275); Qty: 2 ea. Salient characteristics for each are as follows: • Maintenance agreement must include next day business hard drive replacement • Four hour same-day parts replacement • Telephone support for all hardware and software failures • On-site technician for repairs that exceed the technical expertise of the IT staff Additional notes: contractors are asked to submit their tax identification number and estimated delivery timeframe with their proposal. FOB Destination must be reflected in this quote. Items shall be received NLT the beginning of the period of performance: 22 September 2012.
