- Seeking sources for Contractors who can provide a fully automated testing system, to include equipment, reagents, training and maintenance of equipment necessary to perform Infectious Disease Testing for the Department of Pathology, Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC), Fort Bragg, NC 28310. Contractor shall guarantee delivery of instruments, calibrators, consumables and reagents. Contractor shall provide an installation specialist to assist laboratory personnel with the entire implementation and installation process, ensuring the installation and validations be completed within 30 days of equipment arrival. The Clinical Application Specialist, furnished by the Contractor, must perform system validation procedures to include calibration, precision, accuracy, sensitivity studies as applicable, and data stream verification for Laboratory Interface System (LIS) interface capabilities. The Contractor shall furnish interface assistance to ensure that the system is interfaced with the LIS prior to departure. If purchase of additional equipment is required to maintain the LIS interface, an equipment credit must be allowed as a discount by the Contractor. The system must have barcode capabilities and be fully interfaceable to the Composite Health Care System (CHCS). The testing system shall be fully automated with at least 20 different integrated tests; multiple tests that may be pre-calibrated with automatic lot switching; required calibration up to 28 days; barcode reading for all reagents and samples and automatic reflex testing and repeat testing. The required testing methodology for these assays must be enhanced Chemiluminescence. Contractor shall provide training for two individuals initially for the analyzer. One additional training slot shall be available for each option year. Contract has a Base Year (October 1, 2012 through September 30, 2013) and 4 one-year options (October 1, 2013 through September 30, 2017). Anti-HBs - 2,400, HbsAg - 25,500, HbsAg Confirmatory Kit - 500, Anti-HCV - 15,700, Anti-HBc IgM 2,225, Anti-HBc - 11,000, Anti-HAV IgM - 2,400, Anti-HAV Total - 700, Rubella IgG - 7,200, Vitamin D - 8,000. Quantities will increase for each option year.
