Description
The work includes Providing all material, labor, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to furnish and install 3 new power-vented furnaces in the Golf Clubhouse, Building 939 and incidental related work. The scope of work is as follows: Remove existing duct furnaces and vents. Install new duct furnaces in the existing ductwork. Connect furnaces to existing 120V power and natural gas supplies. Provide new duct transitionsas required for proper installation. Furnaces shall conform to thefollowing specifications: Furnaces shall be minimum 80% efficient power vented type. Furnace Capacities shall be as follows: DF-1: 175,000 btuh output at a pass through rate of 4000 cfm with a pressure drop no greater than 0.70 in. wc. DF-2: 200,000 btuh output at a pass through rate of 5200 cfm with a pressure drop no greater than 0.85 in. wc. DF-3: 175,000 btuh output at a pass through rate of 4000 cfm with a pressure drop no greater than 0.70 in. wc. Furnaces shall be equipped with E-3 (409) stainless steel burners, heat exchangers, and drip pans. Furnaces shall have factory equipped power vents. Venting shall be as follows: DF-1: Provide new Type B double-wall galvanized steel vent and vent cap in accordance with AGA requirements. Vent shall be sized in accordance with furnace manufacturer's recommendation. Install new vent through existing roof penetration. Provide new storm collar around vent for a watertight installation. DF-2 and DF-3: Provide new Type B double-wall galvanized steel vents and vent caps in accordance with AGA requirements. Vents shall be sized in accordance with furnace manufacturer's recommendation. DF-2 and DF-3 vents shall be run up through the existing mechanical chase, the turn through the north wall of the chase above the kitchen restroom, then through the north wall of the building as far as possible from the soffit. Provide galvanized steel sleeves and fire-stop caulking where vents pass through chase and exterior wall.
