Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 11, in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Radio Communications, Inc., 176 Meachem Avenue, Battle Creek, MI 49037. This is for APX7000 Digital Portable Dual Band Radio with Encryption and Otar, Single Unit Charge, and Customized Radio Programming for the VA Medical Center, 5500 Armstrong Road, Battle Creek, MI 49037. NAICS 811213, size standards $10 million applies. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 10:00 am on September 12, 2012. No telephone or email inquiries will be accepted. All responses must be mailed to VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, Attn: Kellie Theisen (54C), 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105.
