- Request For Quotation Performance Work Statement (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number is FA5613-12-R-Z001, and the solicitation is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-58. (iv) This is not a set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this solicitation is 561621. (v) The 700 CONS/LGCE Flight has a requirement for repairs of surveillance cameras on Ramstein Air Base Kapaun Air Station. Offerors shall use Attachment 1, RFQ to submit an offer. (vi) Attachment 2, Performance Work Statement (PWS), contains the description of the requirement for the repairs of the cameras. (vii) All offerors must propose FOB (free on board) destination. (viii) The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items (FEB 2012), applies to this acquisition. Lowest Price Technically Acceptable will be used for this acquisition. (ix) The provision at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items (Jan 1999), applies to this acquisition. (x) The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items (FEB 2012), applies to this acquisition. (xiii) The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) is not applicable to this acquisition. (xiv) Electronic Funds Transfer will be the payment method of award. (xv) Offers are due 13 Sept 2012 before 1630 hrs (4:30 pm) Central European Summer Time (CEST). Offers may be sent via email to joshua.zachariah@ramstein.af.mil, or michael.rankin@ramstein.af.mil or hand-delivered to the following address: 700th Contracting Squadron, Kapaun Air Station, Bldg 2767, 67661 Kaiserslautern. POCs for hand deliveries are Joshua Zachariah, room 215, or Michael Rankin, room 215. Postal mail shall not be used to submit offers. Late offers will not be considered. Note: Kapaun Air Stations is an Air Force controlled installation. Delays at the gate will not be considered if offers are late. (xvi) A site visit will be held on 6 Sep 2012 starting on Ramstein AFB and moving to Vogelweh, to visit all dorms. Offerors shall provide the names of the attendees not later than 04 Sep 2012 to the points of contact identified in the provision. It is the Government's intent to conduct one (1) site visit only.
