- RFQ M00081-13-RC-00099, Luna Remote PIN Entry Devices Support This is a Brand Name Request for Quotation (RFQ) for a Commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 (FAR Acquisition Circular 2005-60 and DFARS Publication 20120529), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government intends to make a single award. This requirement is set-aside 100% for small business under NAICS Code 334119 with a small business standard of 1,000 employees. Request for Quote Due 6 September 2012, 12:00 PM EST 1. SOLICITATION REQUIREMENTS: This requirement is for maintenance support services for LUNA Remote PIN Devices, to include technical support. All contractors must comply with the requirements listed below for this request. Failure to comply will result in disqualification. This will be a Firm Fixed Price Contract as a single award. 2. BASIS FOR CONTRACT AWARD: This acquisition will utilize Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) procedures in accordance with FAR 15.101-2. Technical tradeoff will not be made and no additional credit will be given for exceeding acceptability. Award will be made to the acceptable offeror with the lowest evaluated price, which deemed responsible in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation and whose quote conforms to the solicitation requirements, specifically Contract Line Items (CLIN). The solicitation requirements include all stated terms, conditions, representation, certifications, and other information required by this solicitation. The Government reserves the right to award without discussions. Therefore, each initial offer should contain the offeror's best terms from a price and technical standpoint. However, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if determined necessary by the Contracting Officer. Technical Acceptability will be based on whether the products or services provided in your quote meet the government needs in accordance to the requirements in the statement of work (SOW).
