- PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE ISSUED. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up to date information about this acquisition. No partial quotes will be considered. No partial awards will be made. The Request for Quote number is RFQ0761126679 and is being conducted as a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 423830 - Industrial Machinery and Equipment Merchant Wholesalers; the size standard is 750 employees. The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed price contract. This RFQ incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-58. This requirement will be awarded on an all or none basis as a commercial item, fixed price purchase order under the procedures at FAR Parts 12 and 13. The Federal Bureau of Investigation requires the following items to the following: Line 001; Diesel Pneumatic Forklift (22,000lbs), 1, EA; Technical Specifications: • Load Capacity: 22000lbs at 24″ load center; • Mast Type: Max lift height 236″ Three stage, Lowered lift height not to exceed 135″; • Forks: 60″; • Fuel Type: Diesel; • Tires: Dual Drive solid pneumatics; • Engine: Cummins QSB4.5L turbo diesel engine with 110 hp 2-speed powershift transmission; • Hydrostatic power steering, with two greasable steer links protected by a heavy duty fabricated steer axle articulated for operator comfort; • Hydraulic boosted automotive style self adjusting self centering and self energizing brakes; • Dual action parking brake with automatic return-to-neutral to prevent accidental brake damage; • Semi-suspension vinyl seat; • Back-up alarm; • Separate lift/tilt controls; • Head lights; • Turn signals; • Brake lights; • Back-up lights; • Elevated air intake in overhead guard; • Towing pin; • Horn; • Automotive style instrument dash with hour meter and warning lights; • Anti-slip rubber floor mat • EPA Certified; • Enclosed cab with wiper and heater; *Must have Side Shifting Fork Positioner (shifts the load left to right hydraulically, while seated in the operators seat and hydraulically moves the forks close together where they almost touch and out to the width of the carriage). FOB Destination: FBI Laboratory, 2501 Investigation Parkway, Quantico, VA 22135. The contractor shall extend to the Government full coverage under a normal commercial warranty. Acceptance of the warranty does not waive the Governments rights with regard to the other terms and conditions of this contract. The warranty period shall begin upon final acceptance of all items provided to the government by the Contractor.
