- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FA4877-12-Q-0578 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses of those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-60, Defense Circular Number 20120724, and Air Force Acquisition Circular 2012-0330. This procurement is being issued as a full and open requirement. The Associated North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code for this request is 532412 with a size standard $7.0M employees or under. The results of this requirement will be a firm fixed priced (FFP) contract. The right to make multiple or no award is reserved in the event it is advantageous to the Government to do so. Items called for by this RFQ have been identified in the schedule by brand name or equal. The contractor shall provide the following Contract Line Item Number (CLIN): CLIN 0001- Rent excavator, Caterpillar 330 or equivalent with either a grapple waste handler claw or HD bucket fitted with tiger teeth and thumb. Excavator must have enclosed cab and A/C. The vendor must deliver and pick up the excavator at AMARG. Vendors must provide on call service for any repairs that are required during rental.
