- Description
- The Fixed Wing Branch (WR-ALC/GRUA) of the Special Operations Forces/Personnel Recovery (SOF/PR) Division (WR-ALC/GRU) at Robins Air Force Base (AFB), GA provides cradle-to-grave acquisition, modification, and sustainment support for all AC-130H/U/J, EC-130J/N/P, and MC-130E/H/J/P weapon systems and subsystems supporting five Major Commands (MAJCOMs) within the United States Air Force (USAF). The Lead Command for the majority of the WR-ALC/GRUA activities is Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) which falls under the unified command of the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). WR-ALC/GRUA also supports Air Combat Command (ACC), Air Education and Training Command (AETC), Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC), and the Air National Guard (ANG). This acquisition is to procure multiple labor categories of A&AS support in the form of logistics management, configuration management, and engineering support. Logistics management support includes functions such as acquisition planning, information tracking, logistics studies, working group support, supply support, logistics analysis, depot liaison support, administrative services, technical order support/research, source data package support, and/or review of drawings. Engineering support includes test, electrical, and mechanical/aerospace engineers. Configuration management consists of configuration control for WR-ALC/GRUA managed aircraft, systems, and associated training equipment. Tasks under this category include configuration planning, data analysis, maintenance of configuration documentation and data, and maintaining inventory/configuration status. Each position must be filled in accordance with the performance standard qualifications (i.e. Level I, II, or III) as established in the Performance-Based Work Statement (PWS) and a Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) for each level of each position will be established on the basic contract that will include the performance standard qualification definition. This will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) basic one year contract with two one year annual options. It is anticipated to award an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract.
