- THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 3 The purpose of Amendment No. 3 is to correct the Amendment numbers, extend the date of offers to August 30, 2012, and provide information to all offerors as a result of an industry request for additional information. Accordingly, the following is provided: 1. Amendemnt 01 posted August 10, 2012 amended INSTRUCTIONS, Section 03, h. and provide answeres to industry questions received as of August 9, 2012. 2. Amendement 02 posted August 20, 2012 extends the date of ofers to August 28, 2012. Within the body of the amendment it was incorrectly identified as Amendment 01 -- this was Amendment 02. 3. Amendment 3 posted August 27, 2012 extends the date of offers to August 30, 2012 and provides answers to industry questions received as of August 27, 2012. QUESTIONS AND ANSWERES - AUGUST 27, 2012: Request/Question 1: Provide a maintenance-due document detailing all maintenance due, including the Time items are due and projected to be due at aircraft input and the Date items are due and projected to be due at aircraft input. Answer Question 1: As indicated in the SOW, Attachment 2, please contact carey.d.smith@nasa.gov to obtain the requested information. Request/Question 2: Are there any continued airworthiness directives for modifications and alterations of any type and are there any special test procedures for any alteration or modification. Answer Question 2: There are no continued airworthiness directives for modifications and alternations. The aircraft has no modifications or alterations that would preclude the use of normal tools, equipment, and test sets.At this time, there are no special test procedures required to perform any work on the aircraft. If the above answers are not sufficient or additional information is needed, please email your questions as directed in the original synopsis. Offers are due August 30, 2012 per Amendment No. 3. Offerors are reminded to acknowledge all amendments in your offer through the RFQ system with an attachment or via the email point of contact listed in the original synopsis/solicitation. Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on August 3, 2012. Documents related to this procurement are available over the Internet. These documents reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
