Description

This procurement will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning Contractors, with a small business size standard of $14 million. This will be a negotiated best value procurement. Proposals will be evaluated on price, past performance, experience, management plan and environmental consideration plan. Qualified firms must be able to perform mechanical maintenance services over a sustained period of 5 years or more. This is a follow-on requirement for the subject building. The requirement is to provide for mechanical maintenance services to be performed at the Springfield U.S. Courthouse at 300 State Street, Springfield, MA 01105-1811. This performance based service contract will utilize commercial item procedures for operating, maintaining, and repairing all building mechanical, electrical and utility apparatus and systems installed at the building. The period of performance will be a base period of one year with four one-year options.
