- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.The solicitation number is 0010177801 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-60. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334310 with a small business size standard of 750.00 employees.This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids.The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2012-09-25 13:30:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com.FOB Destination shall be Multiple shipping information. The ICO Jackson - 81st Regional Support Command requires the following items, Meet or Exceed, to the following: LI 001, VTC install/upgrade and configuration: The contractor will provide IAW the SOW/PWS the installation of (6) six integrated VTC (Video Teleconference) systems (comprised of a video codec, sound system with both speaker(s) and microphone(s), and an HD (High Definition) display (1080P or better)). These systems will be full HD compatible and able to operate on both IP and ISDN based telecom transmission specifications. The Systems will all include (either as part of an upgrade or initial install) a separate sound system and microphones that are fully integrated into the overall VTC system, and a full HD display in the form of either LED display or projector display with screen- smart board. The main conferencing system upgrade will integrate with the existing system which is controlled by a touch panel device that controls every peripheral in the room. This means that reprogramming of the touch panel and its software is necessary. The main conference room will also get updated codec/bridge device that can handle at least 10 ISDN/IP participants at one time and be fully HD compliant. The main displays will be upgraded to 80? LED HD HDMI displays as well as 135? projector screen. 10 additional 24? LED DVI/HDMI displays will be added to the main conference table. 4 additional 24? LED DVI/HDMI displays will be added to right and left pillars providing full viewing angle from any position in the conference room. 2 VTC cameras will be upgraded to full HD cameras. Audio mixer will be upgraded to incorporate additional telephone add-on capabilities. HD video signal processor and switching device will be added replacing analog video switcher providing the ability to transmit HD digital cable and reduce vision impairment from low quality video signals. DVI/HDMI video distribution amp will be added to the conference table in order to provide HD signal to 10 monitors (listed above). Blue Ray player will be added replacing existing DVD player providing HD video capabilities as well as DVD video up scaling in order to match HD display output. One (1) 5,500 lumen HD projector will be added and utilized for standard briefings and presentations. SEE ATTACHMENT "CLIN 1 FEDBID.doc" to see the entire CLIN's language. The entire install must be completed within 30 days ADC award., 1, EA; Solicitation and Buy Attachments ***Question Submission: Interested offerors must submit any questions concerning the solicitation at the earliest time possible to enable the Buyer to respond. Questions not received within a reasonable time prior to close of the solicitation may not be considered.*** For this solicitation, ICO Jackson - 81st Regional Support Command intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. ICO Jackson - 81st Regional Support Command is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, competed, real-time bids.All responsible Offerors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com. There is no cost to register, review procurement data or make a bid on www.FedBid.com.Offerors that are not currently registered to use www.FedBid.com should proceed to www.FedBid.com to complete their free registration.
