Description
The Cold Regions Research & Engineering Laboratory (CRREL) is a Joint Service laboratory conducting research development and technology evaluation on an interdisciplinary basis to solve strategically important problems of the US Army Corps of Engineers, Army, Department of Defense, and the Nation by advancing and applying science and engineering to complex environments, materials, and processes in all seasons and climates, with unique core competencies related to the Earth's cold regions. CRREL provides innovative products and solutions in support of the warfighter, homeland security, environment, infrastructure, and civil works water resources requirements. CRREL's research staff utilizes a multi-disciplinary approach to solve difficult environmental physics and cold regions engineering problems. Technical areas of research include Signature Physics, Terrain Properties and Processes, Biogeochemical Processes in Earth Materials, Environmental Fate and Transport Geochemistry, Maneuver Support and Sustainment, Cold Regions Infrastructure, Water Resources and Geospatial Applications, and Hydrology and Hydraulics. An increase in our military's operational tempo due to worldwide operations, growth in extreme and changing physical environments considerations related to climate variations and increasing requirements for time sensitive responses has created an increase in research, and program/business/administrative support workload. This increase in workload exceeds CRREL's current manpower capability and requires additional support. This sources sought is to determine the feasibility of obtaining these services to provide additional support to allow the CRREL to meet goals and time constraints required by RDT&E programs and reimbursable sponsors. Support services are required in: multiple engineering disciplines, multiple science disciplines, administrative and program support to business functions, engineering technician, biological technician, physical science technician, grammatical and technical editors, computational analyst, physicist, geophysicist, and engineering/science aid areas. PLEASE SUBMIT A SUMMARY OF YOUR COMPANY'S TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES TO INCLUDE THE ABILITY TO PROVIDE STAFF WITH CURRENT TOP SECRET CLEARANCES.
