- SAVE THE DATE **NAICS(old) 333319, NAICS (new) 333318 What: NAWCTSD / CFL-NDIA IPT (Industry Day) When: Thursday September 6, 2012 Time: 9:00 “ 11:00 Where: Partnership III, Room 321A/B Background: The Central Florida Chapter of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) in partnership with the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) have reestablished and energized the Navy ™s Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings with Industry. Toward that end, we established a Charter for the IPT to help us collectively address issues of mutual interest and benefit to the Government-Industry Navy Team and held IPT sessions in this new format in September 2011 and April 2012. The goal is to hold IPT sessions on an œas needed basis, with a tentative plan objective of twice a year, in September and March. Both Government and Industry can nominate potential issues as desired and the IPT will work together to help refine, prioritize, and get them onto an IPT agenda when/as appropriate. Our next session is set for September 6, 2012 Rules of Engagement. NDIA will help moderate these IPTs and work to keep the discussion flowing and on the subject being addressed. NDIA will also work to ensure these sessions stay within the bounds of the allotted time (one to two hours). Finally, based upon the venue available for an IPT session, NDIA will provide guidelines to keep attendance within the constraints of the meeting area. We will distribute any related materials and results through our membership listing/web site as well as through the CPAG. The IPT Sessions are NOT intended to discuss any current or future Business Opportunities. For capacity reasons, please limit participation to a maximum of two representatives per company. We highly recommend Industry send only personnel experienced in the specific Session Issues the IPT will address. Again, the IPT ™s are NOT business development meetings. For the September 2012 session, the following items will be addressed. They are: 1. Navy Progress to Make Section L&M Information Available Early. 2. Navy PALT Planning, Status, Schedule. 3. Panel Discussion & Q&A of IPT Issues related to Navy Proposal Requirements, Potential Efficiencies, Possible Cost Savings, and Shaping and Preferences of Program Teams. NAWCTSD and CFL-NDIA representatives have set an agenda that offers for a good exchange of information and insight on how to better to posture when working with the Government. Of particular note, the Panel being assembled by NAWCTSD will include a cross representation of functional representatives typically on a Navy program IPT to help illuminate how functional perspectives and concerns on risk and other items help shape and focus a given program ™s acquisition strategy. We look forward to your participation. Sign Up/RSVP to attend. If you wish to participate, please RSVP to Joel Owens via email at jowens@camber.com. Companies are requested to limit their attendance to 2 employees to enable the broadest possible attendance. As with the past two IPTs, we are targeting a group size of 80 individuals. Thanks for your interest and remember: Save The Date!
