- Description
- Contracting Office Address Department of Health and Human Services, National institutes of Health, National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Library of Medicine, 6707 Democracy Boulevard, II Democracy Plaza, Suite 700W, Bethesda, Maryland 20892 Description National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) plans to procure on a sole source basis with Active Motif ar Oaks Way, suite 150, Carlsbad, CA 92008 for ChIP-sequencing, also known as ChIP-seq, is used to analyze protein interactions with DNA. ChIP-seq combines chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) with massively parallel DNA sequencing to identify the binding sites of DNA-associated proteins. It can be used to map global binding sites precisely for any protein of interest. Previously, ChIP-on-chip was the most common technique utilized to study these protein-DNA relations. Our research is aimed to identify links between H3K27 and H3K4 trimethylation and STAT5, transcription factor, during mammary development. ChIp-Seq is a powerful tool to analyze histone methylation patterns in chromatin. Vendor shall provide a qualified expert to perform full service Chip-Seq. The service shall use optimized techniques for ChIp-Seq with H3K27 and H3K4 trimethylation. This acquisition will be processed in accordance with simplified acquisition procedures as stated in FAR Part 13.106-1(b) (1).
