- Draft Statement of Work for Quantitative Research Analytical Data Support (QRADS) The US Securities and Exchange Commission, Headquarters, Station Place, Washington, DC, will host an Industry Day on September 26, 2012, beginning at 10:00 a.m. The purpose of Industry Day is to exchange preliminary information about a Request for Proposals (RFP) to present the Quantitative Research Analytical Data Support (QRADS) requirement and to solicit feedback on the Government's acquisition strategy for this solicitation. The Government anticipates the award of a Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract as an option. The Government is seeking information from Industry on the following: 1). Recommendations for acquisition strategy and contracting options which are best suited for this type of acquisition. 2). Identification of the type of information needed by Contractors to respond to a future Government Request for Proposal. A draft Statement of Work is attached to enhance industry's understanding of the requirement and to allow industry vendors to email questions to the Government in advance of Industry Day. The Government will address select questions during Industry Day. The Government will later respond to all other written questions and/or comments submitted in response to this announcement or information provided as a result of this announcement via an amendment. The deadline for emailed questions is September 19, 2012 at 5:00 pm (EST). Please send all questions to Robert Witherspoon and Angela Dunson at WitherspoonR@sec.gov and DunsonA@sec.gov. While Industry Day is free at SEC Headquarters, Station Place, registration is required. Industry Day is limited to no more than two individuals per company. Please register via FedBizOpps (FBO) on the Interested Parties List no later than September 19, 2012. In addition, please RSVP no later than September 19, 2012 by sending an email to both email addresses identified above with the following information regarding each attendee: (1) full name, (2) company name/organization, (3) address, (4) phone number, (5) email address, and, (6) fax number. Your email subject line should specify "RSVP QRADS Industry Day". A preliminary agenda and additional details regarding Industry Day will be posted via an amendment. Questions and comments will be solicited from attendees on Industry Day and will also be addressed via an amendment to be posted on FBO following Industry Day. It is recommended that attendees arrive 20 minutes or earlier to check in at the SEC's Headquarters Lobby to obtain a name badge from the guard station. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and it does not constitute a solicitation, nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for any effort expended in responding to this notice, nor will the Government accept any proposals as a result of this announcement. The Government will not award a contract resulting from this synopsis.
