Description
ADDITIONAL ROBOT REQUIREMENTS ADDITIONAL ROBOT REQUIREMENTS PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE ISSUED. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this request. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This procurement is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation parts 12 and 13. The Federal Bureau of Investigation is issuing this acquisition as a Request for Quote (RFQ) under solicitation number 0761128761. ***Brand name or Equal products are acceptable for this procurement. If an alternative brand is proposed; vendors must include with a quote a point by point comparison of their proposed item and meeting or exceeding the attached mandatory specifications/options. In order to be considered for award the offeror must provide all required supplies to the exact specification listed below. 1.Remote Andros F6B QTY (1) Robot must include the following items: •Arm Position Feedback with User Presets •Color Arm Camera with Auto Iris/Focus, Wide-Angle Lens and LED or IR Light with 40:1 Zoom •Surveillance Color Camera with LED or IR Light, 216:1 Zoom Lens and Pan/Tilt (Continuous Pan) •Black/White Drive Camera Assembly •24 Volt Battery Pack •Tool Kit •Pneumatic Wheel Kit •One Operation/Maintenance Manual (CD-ROM) (Included in Item 1) •24 VDC Battery Charger Assembly (Included in Item 1) •2 1/2 Days Operator/Maintenance Training at Quantico Facility maximum class size 6 people Truck Cable Kit, 10' between Monitor and Data Link •Truck Cable Kit, 20' between Monitor and Data Link •Truck Cable Kit, 40' between Monitor and Data Link •Cable Attachment Bracket, to hang up the Data Link •J-32 Splitter (RS 232 / Shotgun or Tool) •Additional Operations & Maintenance Manual See attached for Additional Items that must be included with Robot ****The Robot must meet the attached mandatory specifications (see attached)*** Shipping: All Items shall be shipped to-Quantico, VA Submission of Quotes: All quotes must be submitted via e-mail to at Montarious.Usher@ic.fbi.gov no later than Tuesday, August 24 2012 at 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. All question/extension requests must be received no later than 23 August 2012 5p eastern standard time. No request for extension will be granted or question after this date/time. All questions must be submitted via email to Montarious.usher@ic.fbi.gov No telephone call will be accepted. This solicitation incorporates several clauses by reference. The full text of a clause may be accessed electronically on the Internet address: www.arnet.gov. Each offeror shall include a completed copy of the FAR provisions at 52.212-1 Instructions To Offerors-Commercial Items (June 2008), 52.212.3 Offeror Representation and Certifications - Commercial Items (Aug 2009), 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items (June 2010) and 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items (July 2010) as well as 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items (Jan 1999) are incorporated by reference. Contract will be awarded as a commercial item in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Parts 12 and 13. All contractors anticipating award, must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database.
