- PR Number: IQC12137009052 Nomenclature: Bolt Shear source controlled item Specialty Tool Company USA LLC (56937) part number 70209-27007-104 and Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (78286) part number 70209-27007-104. RFP Due Date: October 2, 2012 Quantity: This is an Indefinite Quantity (IQC) Solicitation under Commercial Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12. This procurement is for a two year base. The solicitation contains an option to extend the terms of the contract for three additional one-year periods. This procurement is for one NSN with an Annual Demand Quantity of 1,139 each. Additional items may be added on a basis via Add/Delete Clause. The NSN is 5306-01-175-8767. This acquisition is being solicited as unrestricted basis. This solicitation requests offers on a stock basis only. This procurement also contains a guaranteed minimum. First Article Test Requirements apply and may be waived under certain circumstances. Delivery is as follows: 175 days for Submittal of FAT Test Report; 60 days Test and Evaluation Government; 30 days for DLA Troop Support Approval of Test Report; 390 days for production only after FAT Test Report Approval; Total days 655. Anticipated award date: 2012 November 30. Each item will be evaluated individually utilizing "Best Value" Source Selection procedures. Offers will be evaluated under the streamlined procedures of FAR Subpart 12.6. For this solicitation, all evaluation factors other than cost or price, when combined, are significantly more important than cost or price. The Factor is Past Performance (including Quality and Delivery Performance). This contract action is for supplies which the Government does not possess complete, unrestricted technical data, therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contact with only one or a limited number of sources under FAR 6.302-1 and 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C ) (1).
