- STATEMENT OF REQUIREMENTS (SOR) For Ventilation Training Prop 50 CES/CEF Schriever AFB Colorado) 14 May 2012 TITLE: Ventilation Training Prop Customer/Requiring Activity POC: Paul Macek Phone Number: (719) 567-3377 Project Location: Building 840 Attachments: I. DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT or End Item: Free standing ventilation trainer will be used to provide a safe and controlled training environment for firefighters. The training prop will be designed to replicate actual emergency and rescue conditions. The contractor shall furnish all labor, parts materials, equipment, installation and transportation necessary. A. Multi-pitched all steel simulated roof structure. a. Pitch from 0 to 45 degrees. b. Overall cutting surface shall be 16 x 16 for full panelized cutting. B. Hot dipped galvanized structural steel members. C. Removable safety railings on eave line. D. All galvanized and fully welded safety railings. E. Manual elevating winch system, with stainless steel cable and pulleys for adjusting pitch of roof. F. Steel hangers to accept 2 x 6, 2 x 8 and 2 x 10 joists at 12, 16, and 24 inch spacing. G. Must accept all metal, composition, tile, and shake roofs coverings. H. Must accept all ladder hooks on leading ridge. I. Installation at Schriever AFB Fire Department training grounds. J. Lesson plan and on-site training class. 2. STANDARDS AND CODES: The contractor shall comply with all Federal, State and Local regulations pertaining to the required work including, but not limited to: 3.1. National Electrical Code (NEC) 3.2. National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 3.3. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 3.4. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
