- Under the Authority of Federal Acquisitions Regulation, Part 6, Subparts 6.301 and 6.302, The U.S. Census Bureau, intends to contract with Achieva Partners Inc., on a sole source basis to provide expert programming services for the existing custom implementation of the Movable Type Content Management System used by American Community Survey Office for its public web presence. As the original architect of the Movable Type CMS implementation for the ACS website, Achieva Partners' key personnel has first-hand knowledge of the custom coding utilized by the system to automate the maintenance of the American Community Survey Website. The period of performance for this service consists of September 29, 2012 through September 28, 2013. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. In doing so, interested sources must submit technical capabilities, pricing, and other information that demonstrates their ability to meet the Census Bureau's needs. Detailed capabilities must be submitted to Benjamin.banyasz@census.gov by 4:00 pm (EST) on Monday, September 10, 2012. This notice is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice, but offers will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received within 15 days from the publication of this synopsis, a contract may be issued to Achieva Partners Inc., without further notice.
