- ***************** THIS MODIFICATION TO ORIGINAL SYNOPSIS INCLUDES BELOW INFO REGARDING SITE VISIT(S): A SCHEDULED SITE VISIT WILL NOT BE CONDUCTED. INTERESTED CONTRACTORS WANTING TO VIEW PROJECT SITE SHOULD COORDINATE WITH DWAYNE PETERSON AT (530) 627-3252. ************************ **PLEASE READ: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. NO OTHER INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE UNTIL THE SOLICIATION IS ISSUED ON THE DATE IDENTIFIED BELOW. DESCRIPTION: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision for the demolition and disposal of two single-wide trailers at the Oak Bottom Administrative Site, administered by the Six Rivers National Forest. The work includes demolition of designated building structures, removal of all appurtenances such as blocking, anchors, skirting, disconnection of identified utilities, demolition and removal of existing decks and stairs, disconnection of existing 100 amp circuit breaker and replace with 50 amp breaker on each existing service panel, connection of 30 A circuit breaker to existing 30 A receptacle on each existing service panel, removal and in kind replacement of damaged material of roof overhang structure, replacement of asphalt shingles, and minor earthwork and clean-up of job sites. All work activities shall have minimal impact on the site, including vegetation. PROJECT LOCATION: The Oak Bottom Administrative Site is located on the Ukonom Ranger District of the Klamath National Forest but administered by the Six Rivers National Forest. Building structures are located on T11N, R6E, SEC1. Travel 45 miles north along State Highway 96 from the junction of State Highway 299 at Willow Creek, CA. Turn right on Salmon River Rd, travel 3 miles to Oak Bottom Administrative Site. PRICE RANGE: The price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. CONTRACT TIME: Estimated start work date is September 10, 2012 with a contract time of 30 calendar days from the effective date of the Notice to Proceed. BONDS: A Payment Bond or Irrevocable Letter of Credit (ILC) in the amount of 100% of the contact price will be required of the successful contractor within 10 days of award. SITE VISIT: A pre-bid meeting is not planned at this time. However, interested vendors are encouraged to visit the site. SET-ASIDE: This procurement is 100% set aside for small business. NAICS code 238910, with a size standard of $14.0million average annual receipts. SOLICIATION DOCUMENTS: The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) requiring both price and technical proposals responding to evaluation criteria described in the solicitation. Documents will only be available electronically to download from this website on or about August 24, 2012. RESPONSE TIME: Request for Quote will be accepted at Northern California Acquisition Service Area, 3644 Avtech Parkway, Redding, CA 96002 NO LATER THAN 4:00 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time on September 04, 2012. Proposals will be accepted by hard copy. Facsimile and emailed quotes to Lara Newburn will also be accepted. CCR AND ORCA REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS: Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the CCR on the part of the offeror will render the offer ineligible for award. Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov//. Additionally, contractors must submit their representations and certifications in the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). Registration is at the following website: http://www.bpn.gov. PLAN HOLDERS LISTS: The Interested Vendors List (IVL) on this site has replaced the Plan Holders Lists available in the past. To register as an interested vendor, select Register as an Interested Vendor and follow directions on the site. The IVL is the only such list maintained for this procurement.
