- Description
- The Amarillo Field Office requires additional compression to boost the declining Bush Dome field pressure and production of crude helium. The project objective is to boost the production of the governments helium reserve. The outcome will allow the Amarillo Field Office to continue producing from the reservoir under declining conditions in order to meet the governments scientific and national security needs and the needs of the private helium market. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a firm fixed priced contract for the installation of compressors to handle 25-27 MMSCFD crude helium gas to include but not limited to the housing/building, connection to existing facilities and all related components for a fully functional CCCP system; coordinate required permits, and test operational functionality of the CCCP system. The Contractor is required to furnish all services and materials to meet the objective of this requirement, including, but not limited to: expertise, equipment, material, labor, and transportation. A properly constructed, installed and operational system is defined as fully functional CCCP system meeting quality standards and complying with all applicable federal, and state, Code & Standards. The applicable NAICS Code for this requirement is 333132, Machinery Manufacturing/Oil and Gas. This solicitation will be unrestricted/full and open. These anticipated Period of Performance for this contract will consist of a 470 calendar days. The magnitude of construction is estimated between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The selection process will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13 source selection procedures. Proposals will be evaluated on Past Performance, Technical, Environmental, and Price Evaluation. The solicitation closing date is scheduled for on or about September 10, 2012.
