- SOLICITATION THIS REQUEST WILL BE ISSUED AS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION. A FORMAL OR WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. AWARD WILL BE BASED ON SUBMISSION OF STANDARD FORM 1449 QUOTE. PLEASE COMPLETE YOUR QUOTE ON THE STANDARD FORM 1449 AND SUMBIT TO ANNIE PRICE BY EMAIL ANNIE.PRICE@FLETC.DHS.GOV OR FAX 912-280-5343. ALL QUOTES ARE DUE BY AUGUST 31, 2012: 4:30 PM (ET). a. A Site Visit is scheduled for 9:00 A.M. EST on August 23, 2012. Contractors who desire to attend the site visit shall provide the company name, individual's complete name, and address. This information shall be provided by August 21, 2012 to Annie.Price@fletc.dhs.gov a receipt of confirmation shall be returned to the e-mailer. Contractor Representatives attending the site visit shall be present at Building 1, FLETC NO LATER THAN 8:45 A.M. EST on August 23, 2012 to view the work site and present pertinent questions. THIS IS THE ONLY SCHEDULED DATE/TIME AVAILABLE FOR THIS VISIT THERE WILL NOT BE ANOTHER TIME TO VIEW THE SITE (NO EXCEPTIONS). Contractor Representatives are encouraged to visit the site to view and learn the location of the work and the general local conditions that can affect the work or cost thereof. Failure to do so will not relieve contractors from the responsibility for estimating properly the difficulty or cost of successfully performing the work. The Government will not assume any responsibility for any mis-understanding or mis-representation concerning conditions made by any of its officers or agents prior to the execution of the contract, unless included in the specifications or related documents. In order to enter the FLETC property, individuals must present two forms of identification, including a Government issued photo identification. Individuals are not allowed to bring Cameras or recording devices of any type on the Center. Transportation will be provided by the Government and individuals will be picked-up from Building 1 for the site-visit; The Government requests that contractors limit the number of attendees representing their company to a maximum of three. INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS 1. For vendor's information, complete Block 17a with name, address, and DUNS Number. 2. Please read Block 20 Schedule of Supplies/Services outlining requirements 3. For pricing, complete Blocks 21-24 columns 4. For signature, complete Blocks 30a-30c. 5. Please complete pages 10 - 20 of the solicitation and submit the completed package 6. If you have any questions, please email them to Annie.Price@fletc.dhs.gov and mike.chapman@fletc.dhs.gov before August 30, 2012. 7. The SF-1449, should be submitted to Annie Price by email or fax (912-280-5343) no later than August 31, 2012: 4:30 PM (ET).
