Description
The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center, Jacksonville (FLCJ) has a requirement for Logistics and Support Services for U.S. Forces. The objective of this contract is to obtain Expeditionary Logistics and Life Support Services for U.S. Naval Forces operating inland in support of Theater Security Cooperation Engagements and Operations Other Than War (OOTW). The geographic scope and region covered by this contract includes the Caribbean Region of the U. S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) area of responsibility (AOR). The Logistics and Support Services shall be for approximately 30-60 personnel, for duration of up to 30 days, and approximately 2 to 7 times per year. This AOR includes Haiti, Dominican Republic and Jamaica. The Services Contractor (SC) shall provide all labor, material, personnel, operational and technical support to perform the statement of work for the execution of this exercise. This contract will be a Multi-Award Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract for Logistics Support Service in the Caribbean region. The holder of this contract is a U.S. Navy contractor. The holder of this contract is not an agent of the U.S. Navy and does not have the authority to bind the U.S. Navy. The contract will be a base period of twelve months with 4 twelve month option periods, and the potential for up to 6 additional months in the event the U.S. Government exercises its unilateral rights via FAR clause 52.217-8. It is estimated that the solicitation will be available on or about 27 AUG 2012 and contract award by 30 SEP 2012.
