Description

Sources Sought only. This Sources Sought Notice is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The Durham VA Medical Center (VAMC), Durham, NC currently has the need for services to perform annual service and testing of three centrifugal chillers; six auxillary chillers and semi-annual service and testing of the tracer summit control system and refrigerant monitoring system. Service shall be provided in accordance with Trane service manuals specific to the chillers and Trane Tracer Summit Control system currently installed at the Durham VAMC. Only Trane Tracer Summit software shall be used to make adjustments and changes to the summit system. Period of performance will be for a twelve month base period and four twelve month option periods. An Eddy Current Analysis of the three centrifugal chillers will be conducted in option years one and four. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Contractors are to provide a brief description of qualifications and any other pertinent information, which demonstrates there ability to meet the above requirement and specify their business size (large or small) and identify if the firm falls into any of the following socioeconomic categories: Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business, 8(a) or HubZone, other socioeconomic category (woman-owned, minority-owned, etc), small business with no special socioeconomic category, or large business This synopsis is not a solicitation announcement for proposal and no contract will be awarded from this announcement.
