- SSJ The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) intends to award an order to Reuters America Inc. for Reuters Syndicated Loan Information Database. The period of performance will be a base period of one year, beginning on October 1, 2012, with the possibility of two one-year option periods. According to market research conducted, Reuters is the sole provider of the Reuters Syndicate Loan Information Database and support. The Reuters Syndicated Loan Information Database is a product that allows OCC's analysts to electronically access information for syndicated commercial and industrial loans on a national basis. The information includes pricing, covenants, borrower, lender, purpose, amount, country/region, credit rating, maturity, agent and lead banks and borrower's SIC or NAICS codes. The database provided to the analysts is searchable by these key data elements and goes back to at least the late 1980s. The database is commercially available and updated on at least a weekly basis, capturing new transactions and updating previous transactions. As Reuter's data is proprietary, only Reuters can provide the Reuters Syndicated Loan Information Database and support. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent to sole source is not a request for competitive quotations; however, the Government will consider responses received no later than 12:00 PM EST on August, 27, 2012. Responses shall be submitted to Laura Swartz at Laura.Swartz@occ.treas.gov. Responses shall include, at a minimum, the following information: 1. The name of your company; 2. Company DUNS No.; 3. POC name and contact information; 4. The specific product(s) that your company offers that fulfills the same function as the items to be included on this order or evidence that your company is capable of providing a renewal for the specific items mentioned above; and, 5. A description of that product(s) and its overall capabilities. It is your responsibility to demonstrate how your product(s) is capable of providing the same functionality that exists with the Reuters products mentioned above. The Government will not seek additional information from your company if you fail to provide sufficient evidence of having a product cable of meeting the Government's needs. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government's Contracting Officer. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
