Description
The Pacific Regional Contracting Office (PRCO) at TAMC intends to award a firm-fixed price, personal service contract for part-time Medical Dosimetrist (Therapeutic Radiological Technologist) services at Tripler AMC, Hawaii. This requirement is for a period of performance from 01 August 2012 through 31 July 2013 (Base & 4 Option Periods). Required experience of the Medical Dosimetrist includes but is not limited to: (1) Must be certified as an ARRT Registered Technologist in Radiation Therapy and a Certified Medical Dosimetrist through the Medical Dosimetry Certification Board (MDCB). (2) Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Certified Medical Dosimetrist required within 8 years prior to contract award. (3) Must have experience within the last year with the multi-vendor environment of Philips, Pinnacle, RadCalc, Elekta MOSAIQ and Varian. (4) Must have experience within the last year with external beam treatment planning experience with Philips Pinnacle including Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT). (5) Experience within the last year with Volumetric Arc Therapy (VMAT) and Image Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT) is required. (6) Experience within the last year working with the clinical team to implement High Dose Rate (HDR) afterloading technology (Varian GammaMed system) and stereotactic body radiosurgery (SBRT) required.
