Description

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE, NOT A REQUEST FOR A PROPOSAL OR QUOTATION. A SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND PROPOSALS/QUOTATIONS WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. The United States Marine Corps Regional Contracting Office Far East intends to negotiate and award a contract on a noncompetitive basis with RIVA SOLUTIONS, LLC, 2902 AGRICULTURE DR, MADISON WI 53718-6876 in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements) to perform a follow on contract for support of the Base Pass and Access Control (BPAC) System for Marine Corps Bases Japan. Work includes, upgrades, installation, programming, configuration, testing, training, and general support services. This Notice of Intent is not a request for proposals. Information received from interested parties will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses to this electronic notice must be made by 9:00 a.m. JST on 24 August 2012.
