Description
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price base with two option years Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract to The Boeing Company 6200 J.S. McDonnell Blvd Saint Louis, MO 63166 using authority FAR Subpart 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements for the procurement of Service Life Extension Program (SLEP) Phase C1-C3 tasks. SLEP phase C1-C3 shall re-life parts using total life analysis approach, produce fail safe analysis, configuration audits, correlation analysis, crack initiation analysis, crack growth analysis, flutter assessment, define structural modifications, provide engineering certification packages, define inspection intervals, and associated program management tasks. The Boeing Company is the sole designer, developer, integrator, manufacturer and supplier of the F/A-18 Weapon System and only Boeing has the F/A-18 particular engineering analysis software, engineering data, capability, resources, and expertise required to fulfill NAVAIR's requirements. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation. A determination not to compete this proposed effort based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
