- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Eastern Logistic Service Area, Southern Region, AAQ-510 ATL, College Park, Georgia has a requirement for the Eastern Service Area Airport Surveillance Radar (ASR) Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) unit Replacement at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Atlanta, Georgia. This requirement is solely set-aside for Pre-Existing/Qualified Contractors under the Eastern Service Area Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA). Any interested firms who are on the Eastern Service Area Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) and identified HVAC Replacement in their Declaration of Primary/Secondary Interest and Ability for Task Order Performance that would like to be considered for award are required to submit a complete proposal package by the solicitation close date noted below. Love, Contract Specialist, via e-mail at james.love@faa.gov Construction Price Range: $250,000.00 to $500,000.00 Performance time: 30 calendar days. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238220 - HVAC (heating, ventilation and air-conditioning) Contractors - Standard Size - $14 million NOTE: Site visit for this project is MANDATORY. Site visit is scheduled for August 21, 2012 at 1:00PM EST. POC for site visit is Charles Earnheart 404-389-8616 or Devon Dickeo 404-559-6903. Prospective contractors shall send to Devon Nickeo, devon.nickeo@faa.gov, the names of the personnel that will be at the sight visit. The meeting place for the site visit will be at the Hartsfield-Jackson ATCT, at the address listed in the contract documents. When responding to this Request/Request for Proposal (RFP), each offeror is required to submit a cost breakdown proposal in addition to all the required documents outline in the RFP. Proposals are due no later than 4:30 p.m. local time (Eastern Standard Time), September 5, 2012. This RFP is not to be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government shall not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of requested proposal documentation. NOTICE for informational purposes for Minority, Women-owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
