Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The National Institute of Standards and Technology in Boulder, CO. has a requirement for Conductive Cloth Please see statement of work for details. The following Department of Commerce (CAR) clauses apply to this acquisition: 1352.201-70 Contracting Officer's Authority; 1352.209-73 Compliance with the Laws; 1352.209-74 Organizations Conflict of Interest; 1352.246-70 Place of Acceptance; Quotes will be evaluated for best value. The government will select the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror to receive the order. Purpose: This conductive cloth is required to construct a broadband, high power, tapered termination for the Co-Conical Field Generation System, an expanding coaxial cell. This conductive cloth is the main part of the termination, and plays a critical role in its overall performance. Deliverable with DC impedance value of 475 Ohms/Square operational frequency range - DC-40 GHz operational power density - no degradation with continuous exposure to 20 mW/cm2 post applied protective coating will keep resistance between 475 and 515 ohms/square amount 4 ft x 50 ft minimum dimensions 1)vendor will provide bare cloth 2)NIST will cut sections and apply connections via conductive silver epoxy to the cloth sections - 3)NIST will return sections to vendor 4) vendor will mask conductive connections then apply anti-moisture/anti-aging protective coating to sections 5) vendor will return sections to NIST. Vendor to provide bare cloth within 3 weeks after receipt of order. Vendor return completed cloth within 3 weeks after receiving cloth from NIST.
