Description

Amendment # 2 Radiology Reading I would like to know if there are a minimum number of radiologists needed for this contract. The contract specifies the amount of hours, the workload and the required timeframe for completion. How that is accomplished is left up to the bidder. Is an Ohio license required or can it be any state like for other VA physicians? An active license from any state will meet the requirements. Is malpractice coverage required or is this covered by the VA Federal government protection like other VA physicians? There is no coverage provided by the VA. This is stated in the RFP. After a review - I just want to clarify that you are seeking 1.5 FTE radiologists to do the reads on site. Yes, we are seeking 1.5 FTE Will the radiologist be reading for other locations as well at the same place of performance? No, the radiologist will not be reading for other locations. I am concerned about the mention of VPN/Offsite reads - we are capable to provide this service, but the pricing for emergency/afterhours off site/Teleradiology is normally done per procedure, not hourly. This is for hourly rate as stated in RFP.
