Description
SOURCES SOUGHT. This is a sources sought announcement only! This is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this announcement is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources such as 8(a), HubZone, small disadvantage, service disabled veteran-owned business, and small business relative to NAICS 621610, size standard $13.5M. Responses will be used to determine appropriate acquisition decisions. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Birmingham VA Medical Center, 700 19th Street S, Birmingham, AL 35233 is seeking sources for a potential contract to provide home infusion Services for the beneficiaries of the Birmingham VA Medical Center, Birmingham, AL in the following counties in the State of Alabama: Blount, Lauderdale, Calhoun, Cherokee, Clay, Clebourne, Colbert, Cullman, DeKalb, Etowah, Franklin, Jackson, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marshall, Morgan, Randolph, Shelby, St. Clair, Talladega, Walker, Jefferson, and Winston. Contractor shall provide the following supplies and services as listed below in accordance with all HCPCS Codes and Industry standards Placement and maintenance of intravenous lines, Peripheral Inserted Central Catheter (PICC), Peripheral IV Maintenance of any intravenous and/or epidural line. Home Infusion Therapies to include: Total parental nutrition (TPN), Anti-Infective Therapy, IVIG, Anticoagulation Therapy, Antiemetic Therapy, Chemotherapy, Pain Management, Hydration Therapy, Steroid Therapy, Inotropic Therapy, Iron Binding Therapy,Alpha-1-Proteinase Inhibitor Therapy, and other intravenous/subcutaneous (IV/SQ) drugs as requested. The intended contract is anticipated as one base year, with 4 option years. Responses to this sought must include 1. Point of contact. 2. Company Name, 3. Address, 4. Telephone & Fax numbers, 5. Vendors interested in providing an offer will have to respond to a separate solicitation announcement that shall be published separately.
