Description

This is a sources sought announcement only. It is not a solicitation announcement. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. The purpose of this sources sought announcement is to gain knowledge of potential qualified businesses interested and capable of repairing a walk in freezer for the Department of Veterans Affairs Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy's (CMOP's) located in North Charleston South Carolina. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. Responses to this notice shall include the following: (a) company name (b) address (c) point of contact (d) phone, fax, and email and (e) number of employees as defined by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 19.102. The requirement is for the repair of an existing 10 year old walk in freezer that exhibits floor and ramp buckling due to load from pallet jacks (See attached description). The Government will in no way be obligated to issue a solicitation or award a contract for the aforementioned service, and is providing this as information only. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. The North American Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 811310 ($7.0M). All eligible firms expressing interest in being considered for any resultant solicitation should provide the following information: DUNS number, Cage Code, and Tax ID Number along with the company and contact information listed in the opening paragraph. Notice to Potential Offerors: All Offerors who provide goods or services to the United States Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration, now located at the SAM (System for Award Management) located at https://www.sam.gov/. It is desirable that any offeror complete their business Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). Additionally, all SDVOSB or VOSB who respond to a solicitation on this project must be registered with the Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprise VetBiz Registry located at http://vip.vetbiz.gov. All interested offerors should submit information by mail or ground carrier to: Dept. of Veterans Affairs, Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP), 5049 S. 13th Street, Leavenworth KS 66048 or by email to Linda.Bayer@va.gov. Telephone responses will not be accepted. All information submissions to be marked Attn: Linda Bayer, Contracting Officer and should be received no later than 4:30 PM ET on August 15, 2012.
