- 1. Introduction/Purpose The Federal Aviation Administration, Western Pacific Region, is conducting a Market Survey to improve the Government's understanding of the current marketplace and to identify capable sources. Interested sources must respond with information to confirm evidence of their qualifications and capabilities. This requirement is to provide janitorial services at various locations at the Guam Control facility (GCF), and vegetation control services at various locations at Guam System Support Center (GUAM SSC), Barrigada, Guam 96913. The Request for Offer (RFO), will request pricing for base plus four (4) option years. The sites are as follows: Vegetation Control Services facilitiesJanitorial Services facilities Guam MALSRZUA CTRB AJA NDBQLR ASR Guam RTRGuam RTR UNZ VORQLR ASR QLR ASR QLR ARSR 2. Incumbent Contractor The incumbent for this Procurement is: K Cleaning P.O. Box 7271 Tamuning, GU 96931 DTFAWP-08-C-00037 3. Nature of Competition Responses to this market survey will be used to determine if there is adequate competition to set the requirement aside for Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Businesses (SEDB/8(a)), Small Businesses, SDVOSB, or full and open competition. This survey is being conducted in accordance with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Section 3.2.1.2.1. This survey will support market research obtained from multiple sources and will be utilized for planning purposes only. 4. Standard Language This is not a Screening Information Request or Request for Proposals of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals; all interested vendors are advised that the FAA will not pay for any information or any administrative costs incurred that are associated with any response received from industry in response to this Market Survey/Request for Information. Therefore, any costs associated with vendor's Market Survey/Request for Information submissions will be solely at the interested vendor's expense. Contractor must have 3 years of experience providing the same or similar type projects. 5. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 561720- Janitorial Services 561730-Vegetation Control Janitorial-Small Business size in millions of dollars: $16.5 million Vegetation-Small Business size in millions of dollars: $7.0 million 6. Submittal Requirements for Market Survey Any information provided in response to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only and will not be released. Any proprietary information submitted will be protected if appropriately marked. Vendor participation in any informational session is not a promise of future business with the FAA. Response submittals must include the following information (Submittals can sent by email): a) Name of company b) Address c) Phone and Fax number d) Point of contact e) Email address f) Business size status: 8(a), Small Business, SDVOSB, VSB, etc. g) Verification of registration in the Central Contractor's Registration (CCR) 7. Delivery of Submittals Please submit responses to the market survey by close of business (4pm, PST) on August 22nd, 2012.
